Site Built Design Architect Members - Site Built Design Architect Members include registered professional architects who design site built Community/Commercial tornado shelters. Site Built Design Architects must be informed and knowledgeable of the ICC/NSSA 500 Standards, FEMA P-361 guidelines and IBC building codes that apply to Community/Commercial tornado shelter design. Site Built Design Architect Members can state on their professional listing if they desire or have experience in specific design applications such as schools or rest area facilities and other structures. They can also list other specific areas of expertise in which they have a design or standards background. Site Built Design Architect Members applications will be reviewed for past site built tornado shelter industry experience. The NSSA staff or Executive Director may request additional information or references. Site Built Design Architect Membership Dues - $200 / Due December 31st each year.
