Site Built Design Engineer Members
Site Built Design Engineer Members are registered professional engineers who design site built Residential and Community/Commercial tornado shelters. Site Built Design Engineers demonstrated knowledge of and have experience with the application of the ICC/NSSA 500 Standards, FEMA P-361 guidelines and IBC building codes that apply to Residential and Community/Commercial tornado shelter design. They can state on their professional listing if they desire or have experience in specific design applications such as schools or rest area facilities and other structures. They can also list other specific areas of expertise in which they have a design or standards background.
